BSc. M.A. CSRT.) is a Chartered Building Surveyor, and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with thirty years’ experience in the property and construction industry. Ralph Burkinshaw has written and researched on dampness in buildings extensively, including the classic textbook for surveyors ‘Diagnosing Damp’ published in 2003 by RICS Books. 'Remedying Damp' is due for publishing 2006. He is a trainer in dampness investigation for home inspectors and is qualified in remedial treatment surveying (CSRT). Ralph Burkinshaw has extensive experience in flood remediation, with industry qualifications in applied structural drying and water damage restoration. In addition Ralph is qualified in brickwork to advanced craft and silver trowel award level.
